The Viking Bell Tent in Idaho Springs will welcome you like a VIP! This charming camp is in the trees in the highlands just off I-70. In the privacy of your tent, you’ll have a toasty stove to enjoy your morning coffee. There’s also a large fire pit with chairs where you can sit and eat your dinner. The fire offers an opportunity for chatting with other guests staying on the property.
The fire pit is located between two tents and is shared with other guests. The wood-burning stove keeps guests warm and cozy. It may feel secluded, nestled between two hills on either side, but you are actually just off the road. The neighboring aspens and pines are truly wonderful.
St Mary’s Glacier is a famous tourist attraction that is nearby. Additionally, there are numerous hiking and biking trails. As previously stated, the tent is located just off the road, so you may hear the occasional car passing by. It is otherwise tranquil around here. On-site, there is a composting toilet as well as a private toilet.
