2005 OPERATING SEASON DEPENDS ON RESERVOIR LEVEL

Located on County Road 30, off Colorado Highway 9, the McDonald Flats  Campground has 13 camping sites, vault toilets, water and garbage service, and a stay limit of 14 days.  There is also a day use boat launch area and parking lot.  There is a daily fee of $6.00 for use of the boat launch and day use parking.  The McDonald Flats Campground sits at an elevation of 7,956 feet.  All of the campsites are on a First-Come, First-Serve basis.  Camping fees are $10.00 per night (these fees are subject to change).  All campsites are allowed 10 people and 2 vehicles only, with a maximum vehicle length of 50 feet.  An extra vehicle fee of $5.00 will be charged for vehicles above the 2 vehicle limit.  Golden Age and Golden Access passes are accepted at McDonald Flats Campground.  To view the Dillon Ranger District Camping Regulations please click HERE.
