Located between Summit Cove and Breckenridge on Swan Mountain Road, the Prospector Campground has 106 camping sites, vault toilets, water and garbage services and a stay limit of 14 days.  The Prospector Campground sits at an elevation of 9,117 feet.  Reservation sites are found on the D and E loops, the other loops are on a First-Come, First-Serve basis.  Camping fees are per night.  All campsites are allowed 10 people and 2 vehicles only, with a maximum vehicle length of 32 feet.  An extra vehicle fee will be charged for vehicles above the 2 vehicle limit.  Discounts may be available, see campground host or pay station.  The Dillon Ranger District DOES NOT make reservations, you must call Recreation.Gov at 877.444.6777 (you must mention it is in the White River National Forest) or go to Recreation.Gov to reserve online.
