Located in the Frisco Peninsula Recreational Area between Frisco and Breckenridge on Highway 9, the Pine Cove Campground has 33 asphalt camping sites with tent sites at the end of the asphalt parking lane, vault toilets, water and garbage service, and a stay limit of 14 days. There is also a day use and parking area. There is a daily fee for use of the boat launch, day use parking area and camping. The Pine Cove Campground sits at an elevation of 9,037 feet. All of the campsites are on a First-Come, First-Serve basis. All campsites are allowed 10 people and 2 vehicles only, with a maximum vehicle length of 40 feet. An extra, per vehicle fee, can be charged for more than 2 vehicles. Discounts may be available, see campground hosts or pay station.
