GREEN MOUNTAIN RESERVOIR/CATARACT LAKE RECREATION MANAGEMENT PLAN

Since 1943, recreational development on and around Green Mountain Reservoir and Cataract Lake has evolved with limited long range planning. Some plans have been drafted, but never implemented. The management to date has been generally satisfactory, however, increased use, conflicts among user groups, conflicts among recreation uses, lack of consistent funding, and resource impacts indicate that a long-range plan is needed.
